Puppies Available -I do not have any puppies available!
Our new puppies are cute, healthy, smart and playful. All of our puppies are born and raised in our home, guaranteeing that they are well socialized as family members, with the help of our three children. They are conformational correct, with working ability and great temperaments. They have the potential to grow up to be wonderful companions or show/ breeding quality dogs. But please remember that the Jack Russell Terrier is not the dog for everyone. They are bred to be hunting dogs. City or apartment living, or a confined or sedate lifestyle does not meet the special needs of a Jack Russell Terrier. Before buying a Jack Russell, you should be prepared to commit to a regular exercise program for you and your JRT. Lots of walking and ball throwing is an ideal way for the terrier to burn off that excess energy and it will keep you trim also! A well fenced in yard is a must and the dog cannot be left alone for long periods of time. They are happy, stubborn and energetic dogs, but can be a serious problem in the wrong situation.
Children and Jack Russell's usually get along quite well. If the children are well behaved and understand how to play and interact with a dog, then this can end up being a wonderful relationship. I do recommend that people with smaller children under the age of 7 wait until the children are older before buying a Jack Russell. Cats and small pets are a serious consideration also. Many Jack Russell Terriers live happily with cats, but you must make proper introductions! But since Jack Russells have been bred for hundreds of years to hunt vermin, you cannot expect one not to want to eat your family hamster or gerbil. I would definitely not recommend a Jack Russell if you want to continue to own any rodents.
